For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
This scripture is only the first verse of Ecclesiastes 3 which goes on to name the many different seasons of life that can affect people. What season of life are you in right now? Whatever season you are experiencing, please know that God loves you and walks with you in that season.
Blessings and Peace,
Debbie

Hmmm, the question from your blog post is really something to consider. It is thought provoking. (By the way, I like your foyer display. Looking at it, I can almost feel the sunny day, warm gentle breeze, and the taste of a pineapple smoothie!)
Thanks, Sharon! It is a new display to fit the current "season." I, too, am pondering my own question.
Interesting question - are our seasons defined by our age, our spiritual growth, or???
Iris
Great follow up question, Iris! I would say all of the above! I think the scripture refers to all of the seasons of our life including our spiritual growth which helps us to accept, live through, and find joy in all of the seasons of our life.
Great question, Iris!! I immediately went with seasons = ages. But in my walk with God, I am younger than I am in chronological age. I think I have entered a new season recently...one of more contentment with my life. I am finally, happily settling into retirement.
