Welcome To Christmas On A Tray
Hello everyone! I'm so excited to, once again, be a part of a blog tour hosted by Katherine of katherinescorner.com!
The tray I'm using is a two-tiered tray that I purchased at Target. It appealed to me because it is thin and doesn't take up a lot of space like other trays. It is more "shelf-like" and I debated and debated about how best to add Christmas items. I had loads of fun playing with this tray, though, and I will show you more than one way to add Christmas to this tray so you can decide which you like better. This style is my "less is more" style. I am showcasing cute miniature pieces of Santa, cats on books, snowman and little mouse in a mailbox all interspersed with white and green Christmas trees, also a Target find. To me, this design allows the eye to focus on just a few treasured items and really enjoy looking at them.
My tiered tray is living in the corner of our dining room along with our curio cabinet and several other items. It is an additional nice touch to this area.
Now, this version is the "load it up" version of the tiered tray! In addition to the previous items, I have also added a striped candy cane tree, two wooden mittens and a closed box Nativity. To me, this version seemed a bit "crowded" but some folks may like it better.
Thanks for stopping by on the blog tour and be sure to head on over to Simple Nature Decor to enjoy more Christmas on a tray goodness!
Until Next Time,
Debbie

Your tray is so darn cute! Thank you for participating in the tour my friend xo
Such a pretty tray Debbie! I almost bought it too but talked myself out of it. Of course, I'm sorry now! You're right... it is the perfect size to showcase a few treasures at a time. I'm just in love with the little mouse in the mailbox! Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing and I wish you a beautiful Christmas season!
Super cute Debbie! All the little trinkets are so cute and I like both versions! The mouse in the mailbox is adorable! I hope you enjoy a very Merry Christmas!

Debbie, I like how your tray and setup allow each item to speak. The whole tray is darling!
I'm so glad you participated in this blog tour. I like your two-tiered tray and the way you styled it. I especially like the first simpler version. I enjoyed seeing how you used it in your dining room too.

Your tray is adorable! I've not seen one like this before. I love the style. So fun doing the blog hop with all of you and wonderful to see all the different interpretations of the same assignment. Yours is wonderful. Happy Christmas time.
All the items on the tray are so cute! In both versions! Though I tend to like the second a tad better, probably because I like layering Christmas decor. Enjoy happy holidays!
Love your little tray - and all your items are adorable on it. Thanks for sharing and Merry early Christmas

I love the figurines so much Debbie! Your tray brings me some nostalgia...I don't know why. Have a lovely day!
Your tray is so cute and festive!
I don't know which of your two different ways of displaying your tray I would pick. Each has its own features. I probably would lean more to loading it up more! I am a more is better kind of person, but your first display makes it easy to really appreciate each of your little treasures. Enjoy the holiday!
