March is such a welcome month and I always begin to feel hopeful that Spring is not far away when the first of March arrives. I decided to celebrate its arrival by doing a couple of simple table vignettes. The foyer table is covered in pinks and blues with a heart shaped pink heather wreath, an "R" dressed in greens and whites, a pretty blue sign reminding us to laugh and two Jim Shore snow ladies. The snow ladies are dressed in Spring colors but are a reminder that snow may still fall, even in Spring. The snow ladies are also holding garden implements. Are any of you getting ready for gardening like the snow ladies?
On the upstairs side table I surrounded my faux candle with a candle ring that holds flowers of many Spring colors and even some green eggs. Alongside I placed a small glass candle holder that is silver and white. The colors of the candle holder are also a reminder of the white snow and silvery ice of winter. March is often a fickle month giving warm summery-like days followed by cold rain or ice and snow. It is a month that demands patience while still injecting us with hope of warmer days ahead. At any rate, it felt good to put out a few Spring items around the house today.
How about you? How are you bringing a bit of Spring into or around your home?
Until Next Time,

Just like you, I start believing that spring is near when March arrives. I enjoyed seeing your lovely table vignettes. They really speak to the transition between winter and spring. Daffodils are not far from blooming in my yard, and I'm looking forward to the time when I can bring some of them indoors to put in a vase. Then it will really feel like spring is here.
I love seeing how you style your tables! The pink flowers are beautiful and definitely say spring! I know it's still a long way off for us here in Ohio, but I'm going to bring some colorful flowers home today to add some spring to my home!! Thank you for the lovely inspiration!!
Oh, I love your Spring arrangements - both of them. Where did you find the lovely flower wreath around the candle, or did you make it? I need to look around in my storage room and see what I can find in the warm weather category of 'stuff'. I'm sure there's something there. Project for today!
I'm SO ready for spring/summer and warm/hot weather. It feels like it's been winter forever (I don't do cold well).
Thanks for sharing something lovely, made my day.
Grace & Peace, Iris

Thank you Sharon, Karen and Iris for your lovely comments. Iris, I think I probably got the candle wreath at A.C. Moore which has since closed in our town. Michaels might carry something similar. I really miss A.C. Moore, though. They had better items at better prices in my opinion.
Yes, Spring really does seem to have arrived. I love your arrangements espescially the pink heather wreath on your foyer table. I have enjoyed spending some time in my garden during the past week. It has mainly been tidying up Winter debri but I was pleased to see some daffodils have flowered.
I'm hoping to see some daffodils in my yard soon, Tania!
Hello Debbie! I found your blog through a comment you left on Shellie's FABulous Journey. I'm with you--March brings thoughts of spring! Even though I know the cold (and probably snow) will be back, the last couple of days have been delightfully spring-like. Bring it on!
