What Do Colors Mean When We Wear or Use Them?

I'm linking to a very interesting post by my blog friend, Nancy Andres, who writes about COLOR and how it affects our lives. Very interesting article and she is sweet to feature a pic of me from a recent post! Enjoy!  How does color affect you?

(Link is below. Apologies to those of you who wrote to say the link was not showing. I tried to do the link a different way and, obviously, I don't know what I'm doing, LOL!!  Enjoy!

I'm not getting the link to this article. Maybe it's just me and I'm missing the right way to do it?

Interesting. Maybe it's a bit chicken and eggy here because if you expect a colour to affect you in a certain way, then it will. WHich comes first the expectation or the fact?
Personally, apart from Christmas time, when it feels joyous, red, the bright red, seems aggressive to me and I avoided red displays in my classroom because it seemed to hyper-uo the children, not in a good way. Greens and blues always seemed more calming.

Good questions, Joy, and I don't have the answer! How well I remember the classroom excitement around Valentine's Day and we did indeed have a lot of red in the classroom at that time! Your response brought up school memories for me.
