I adore this outfit that I wore to church today. It is so comfy and soft and warm...all necessary with today's cooler temps.
The dress is a maxi length grey t-shirt type material that I picked up awhile back at Goodwill for about five dollars. There are two pockets on the front of the dress and a scoop neckline.
The black jacket I've had a looong time. Don't remember where I purchased it, but the tag says weekenders.com. The scarf is unique. It has multi-colored threads running through it with black material and fringe at both ends. My husband gave it to me as a gift several years ago.
A goal I have in the New Year is to shop my closet more and enjoy with gratitude what I already have. This outfit reflects that.
The ankle booties are new...a Christmas gift from my husband. They are soooo warm and comfy and cozy. The brand is Skechers On The Go and you can see the exact boot here at a sale price. I love that they are a flat bootie and they are flexible so I can walk easily at work or home all day long.
I'm wearing two bracelets that, again, I've had and enjoyed a long time. The top bracelet is a "stretchy" type and the bottom, silver bracelet has a magnet attachment. Easy on and off with both bracelets.
And Now For the More....
I decided to set up a desk area for myself in our dining room using the old fashioned treadle sewing machine that once belonged to my mother. But, as you can see....the space has been taken over by Gracie. The dining room is one of the last rooms in our house that has not been renovated yet. We are thirteen years into our renovation. More on that in a future blog post!
This is what comes from living with a cat!! (And I'm happy to share with her, believe me!)
Here's wishing you a great first week ahead of 2016!!
Blessings and Meow,
Debbie and Gracie

Just discovered your blog and will be following. I have many of the same interests. I like your idea of enjoying what you already have, and I like the jacket over the dress. Your bracelets are gorgeous together!
So glad you stopped by, Karen and happy that you will be following! I am trying to stick to the idea of enjoying what I have. Gratitude is one of my words for the New Year!
I'm shopping my closet more now than ever too! Gracie sure has made herself right at home! I remember my Mom's old sewing machine was just like yours. Thanks for joining us at My Refined Style!
Gray and black are always a classic combination. Thanks for adding your fashion flair to the My Refined Style Linkup!

Thanks, Shellie! Although I enjoy wearing brighter colors,as well, I feel like this color combination is a "go to" choice.
Thank you, Jennifer, for stopping by. Having my mom's old sewing machine means a lot to me. I like using it as my desk!
